Short biography:
Alano da Fonseca Soares Sicato is a motivated and innovative development economist with 10 years of research at Research Centre for Tax Policy in Angola and 5 years of teaching experience in undergraduate level as Assistant Lecturer in Economic development at Universidade Católica de Angola. Particular areas of interests include theory and practice on International Trade, social and economic inequality, community actions and poverty reduction projects. Ph.D. candidate in Development Studies (2017-2020) at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management |ULisboa, with the PhD research "The Trade Protectionism and The Angolan Economics Growth (2002-2017)”. Master in Legal and Economic Sciences and Development (2016) by Universidade Agostinho Neto, Luanda, Angola, with the Dissertation”The Impact of the Customs Tarrifs Books (2012 and 2017) on National Agricultural Production”. Postgraduate in Internacional Economics and Finance (2012) by London Metropolitan University, London. Bachelor in Economics (2009) by Universidade Católica de Angola, Luanda, Angola. Diploma in Training and communication about Tax Reform and Development by Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.
