Conference Cycle of Interdisciplinary Thematic Networks of ULisboa
In January 2017, a new Conference Cycle of Interdisciplinary Thematic Networks of ULisboa was started.
This monthly cycle will take place in the various schools of ULisboa, aiming to involve all professors and researchers of ULisboa, thus contributing to the development of excellence research in strategic areas of intervention of the University. The conferences will be framed in the research activities of each School, but converging towards a common theme. Therefore, it proposes an interdisciplinary reflection of several current issues, considering the transfer of knowledge and innovation in order to respond to the challenges posed by society. In this context, in 2017, the conferences of the Interdisciplinary Thematic Networks are subordinated to unifying themes, such as “Sustainability of Resources and Food Scarcity: Perspectives and Challenges” (RedeGRO), “Innovation in Urban Mobility for a Changing Society” and “Sea and Future (s)” (redeMAR), or to topics of current relevance such as those promoted by the NETWORK and redeVALOR. Admission is free, but subject to registration (with live streaming whenever possible). The registration form will be made available on the page of each conference.
