ISEG, 17th of November of 2017
The ADVANCE – Center for research in management of ISEG, and the CSG – Research in Social Sciences and Management presents The International Conference of HRM in Portuguese Language – ISEG 2017 that will take place in 17th November 2017 at ISEG (Auditorium 2). The second registration period is running from October 16 to November 14, 2017.
Goals
▪ Promote the production of quality scientific research in the scientific areas of Human Resources Management and related;
▪ Contribute to the development of articles and ongoing work through its constructive discussion;
▪ Provide early-stage researchers with a discussion of their research projects, in the form of an article;
▪ Develop skills in terms of critical evaluation of scientific papers and presentation of research papers;
▪ To deepen the contacts among members of the scientific community of the Lusophone area that they investigate in the Human Resources and related Management areas.
Operation
The Conference will be attended by a guest speaker and the presentation and discussion of accepted articles. The presentation and discussion of articles will work in parallel sessions, being the time allocated for the presentation and discussion of each article of 15 min. They shall be accepted on the basis of merit, and may be at an intermediate stage of their preparation. After accepting the submitted articles, it only becomes definitive when at least one of the authors of the article enrol in the Conference and make the respective payment. All accepted articles will be put together in an ISBN book. The official language of the conference is Portuguese.
Important dates
Registration: from September 1 to October 15th, 2017 (1st period); October 16th to November 14th, 2017 (2nd period); November 15th and 16th, 2017 (3rd period).
Partnership with the European Journal of Management Studies (EJMS)
The Conference has established a protocol with the European Journal of Management Studies, under which the best articles of the Conference will be considered for publication in 2018. The best articles of the Conference will be evaluated and, after final acceptance by the editorial team of the journal, will be published.
