Short biography:
Pedro Candeias is Graduate (2008) and Master (2012) in Sociology from ISCTE-IUL. Is a PhD student in Sociology at ICS-UL under the Doctoral Program in Migration of the Universidade de Lisboa. He is an associate researcher at the Emigration Observatory and a collaborative researcher at SOCIUS/CSG of ISEG-UL. Candeias collaborated on research projects and publications on immigration, emigration, ethnic minorities and problematic drug users.
