Short biography:
PhD in Sociology of Organizations and Work by ISEG - Universidade de Lisboa. Assistant Professor at ISEG and Associate Professor at ISCSP. Currently, works as a researcher at the Organizations, Work, Employment and Gender Group of CSG-SOCIUS-ISEG-University of Lisbon. Her area of scientific activity is Sociology of Labor and Labor Relations. The research interests are currently focused on the dynamics of the transformation of labor relations, collective bargaining, trade unionism, labor, the labor market, employment and working conditions. Has published articles in several international and national journals, as well as books and book chapters, with peerreferee. Her publications of the last five years include: Percursos laborais e de vida de jovens imigrantes, descendentes de imigrantes e nacionais (Coord.), book edited by ACIDI, 2013; “Padrões de Mudança das Relações Laborais”, Temas Atuais da Sociologia do Trabalho e da Empresa, (chapter 7 and chapter 6 in collaboration with I. Kovács), book coordinated by I. Kovács and edited by Almedina Press, 2014; “Impacto da Crise na Regulação do Emprego”, paper published on the magazine Organizações e Trabalho (41-42), 2016; “Young Workers’ Perceptions of trade unions in Portugal (with Ilona Kovács and João Dias), paper published in the magazine Relations Industrielles/Industrial Relations, 72-3 (524-595), 2017.
