Short biography:
Daniela Craveiro is a researcher at SOCIUS (ISEG, Universidade de Lisboa) and at CIS (ISCTE – Instituto, Universitário de Lisboa) . She has a Master’s degree in social psychology from the University of Coimbra and a Ph.D. in sociology by University of Minho. Her publications include ‘The role of personal social networks on health inequalities across European regions’ (Health & Place, 2017), ‘Ties and inequalities in later life: Welfare state regime and the role of social networks in health inequalities in later life in Europe’ (European Societies, 2016) and Migrações e sustentabilidade demográfica [Migrations and Demographic sustainability] (with J. Peixoto, J. Malheiros and I. T. Oliveira, coord). Ageing, social inequality, and social policy are the main topics of her current research.
