The OECD has just launched the Economic Survey of Portugal 2017, which presents an overview of the Portuguese economic situation and development. The report describes Portugal as an economy that is growing gradually after a hard recession. It points out that a broad structural reform agenda supported this recovery while triggered a reduction of the imbalances accumulated in the past. However, it indicates that the level of investment remains low, the investment needs to be strengthened, macroeconomic policies intensified, also, labor skills must be improved.
