The Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra – Associated Laboratory, created in 1999 a biennial award for young researchers (up to 35 years) from any of the Portuguese Speaking Countries. The CES Award aims to reward high quality jobs in the social sciences and humanities. One of the main goals is to promote the recognition of studies that contribute, for their exceptional merit, to the development of Portuguese-speaking scientific communities.
In the amount of 5,000 Euros, this 10th edition of the CES Prize is funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
Applications must be submitted to the Center for Social Studies by March 22th, 2017.
