In Progress 3 is the third edition of a seminar specifically for MSc and PhD students in the field of African studies that will take place on 15 and 16 November at ISEG.
The main objective is to promote a space for reflection and exchange of experiences, providing the meeting of students from different schools, who have studies on contemporary Africa and its development as a research theme. Another objective is to identify the thematic areas which are of the greatest interest to researchers in the present, in order to be able to retain the real dimension of knowledge in the various fields and subjects.
Submissions should include the following thematic panels:
- Fieldwork: practical, theoretical and methodological questions;
- Politics, dynamics of civil society, development;
- Culture, thought and change;
- Strategies for cooperation and development;
- Populations, mobilities and well-being.
