Fortaleza, Brazil, 10th to 13rd of July of 2018
The Organising Committee CIAIQ2018 presents the 7th Ibero-American Congress on Qualitative Research that will take place in Fortaleza (Brazil), from 10th to 13rd of July of 2018. The authors may submit their proposals in the scope of the objectives and thematics of the Congress, namely scientific papers approaching state-of-arts reviews and new perspectives of the research in the following areas:
- Qualitative Research on Health (emphasis in the research processes in the areas of Medicine, Nursing, Geriatrics, Gerontology, Psychology, etc.)
- Qualitative Research on Education ( emphasis in the processes of Research in the different areas of Higher Education, Basic Education, Evaluation, Curriculum, Didactics, Teaching of Sciences, Languages, History, Technology, etc.)
- Qualitative Research on Social Sciences (research, Communication, Arts, Linguistics, Sociology, Anthropology, Administration, Marketing, Management and Economics, etc.)
- Qualitative Research on Engineering and Technology (emphasis on computer-based support methodologies and software for qualitative research and qualitative research in the areas of Engineering and Technology, Information Systems and Engineering Education, etc.)
1. Workshops
The goal of the Workshops is providing practical and dynamic experience to congressmen interested in learning new areas of study, exploring new concepts, learning about technological tools and techniques that contribute to the improvement of quality and scientific rigour.

2. Discussion panels
The Ibero-American Congress on Qualitative Research devotes a relevant space to the dissemination of methodologies and results of research conducted by research groups. In this sense, the CIAIQ2018 will include several Discussion Panels invested by Research Groups, subordinated to themes related to the projects developed and framed within the CIAIQ.
