Short biography:

PhD in Management at ISEG Lisbon School of Economics & Management, Universidade de Lisboa, with a Doctoral Grant from FCT (Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology). Her thesis introduces an integrative approach for leadership effectiveness in rapidly changing organizational settings. She is currently a researcher of leadership studies in the Work and Employment group at the Centre of Research in Social Sciences and Management (CSG), and invited assistant professor of marketing at NOVA IMS, and of organizational cultural at IDEFE/ISEG. Her research interests are in the areas of leadership and leader development, women in leadership, leadership effectiveness, organizational change, business ethics and corporate sustainability. She has published two books, authored and co-authored several publications in academic journals and conference proceedings.
