PhD in Sustainable Tourism by the International Centre for Responsible Tourism, Leeds Metropolitan University (now Leeds Beckett University), U.K. Degree in Environmental Engineering by the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centro de Estudos Geográficos do Instituto de Geografia e Ordenamento do Território da Universidade de Lisboa, in the Project SECOA – Solutions for Environmental Contrasts in Coastal Areas: global change, human mobility and sustainable urban development (FP7- ENV2009). 2.1.5.1).
