Short biography:
I am a researcher at the University of Lisbon, SOCIUS-Research Centre in Economic and Organizational Sociology, CSG-Consortium of Social Sciences and Management, ISEG-School of Economics and Management, Portugal. I concluded a PhD in Sociology at the Centre for Social Studies, Coimbra University, Portugal, in 2013 and graduated in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the same University, in 2003. I have been focusing my research on social studies of health, science and technology, socio-environmental conflicts and public participation in water management. I am currently studying the organizational and epistemic development of oncological research in Portugal, in the project RePortCancer/CancerRePort: Researching the dynamics and international positioning of the portuguese medical oncology community, of the Portuguese Association for Cancer Research
