Short biography:
He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC) and holds a Post-Graduation in Social Economy from the same Faculty. PhD in Economic and Social History, Lisbon School of Economics & Management (ISEG), University of Lisbon. Post-doctoral research carried out at the Economic and Social History Office (GHES) of the ISEG CSG Research Unit. Intensive academic courses: Training Course in Labor Relations, Employment and Trade Unionism of the Center for Social Studies (CES) of the University of Coimbra; Specialization Course in Financial Audit and Internal Control of the Association for University Extension (APEU) of FEUC; ISEG Fast-Track MBA. Author of scientific articles published in book chapters and international journals (examples: Economic Analysis, Our Economy - Journal of Contemporary Issues in Economics and Business and The Journal of European Economic History). Researcher (and member of the Scientific Council) of the GHES of the ISEG CSG Research Unit. He began his professional activity as an auditor at Ernst & Young following an experience in the European Parliament. Economist to perform functions in the Assembly of the Republic. He has regularly collaborated with the Social Communication and has published so far close to 100 articles of opinion in Diário Económico and Jornal Económico.
