Short biography:
PhD degree (2013) in Management at the ISEG – School of Economics & Management, Universidade de Lisboa, with the theme "Inside International New Ventures' Internationalization: Uncovering the Links between Antecedents and Performance”. Master’s degree in Industrial Management and Strategy (2004) and bachelor’s degree in Management (1999) both at ISEG – School of Economics & Management, Technical University of Lisbon. Actualy he is Assistant Professor at ISEG - School of Economics & Management, Universidade de Lisboa, Researcher at ADVANCE - Centro de Investigação em Gestão do ISEG, member of the Scientific and Pedagogical Commission of the Master in Industrial Management and Strategy at ISEG and member of the Pedagogical Observatory of ISEG. His research has focused on the areas of entrepreneurship, international business, international entrepreneurship and innovation. He is co-author of some papers in international scientific journals, of two international case studies and of the pedagogical book "Cálculo e Instrumentos Financeiros – da prática para a teoria” (Escolar Editora). He has presented papers in several international conferences in the area of international entrepreneurship and international business. In recent years, he has participated in applied research and consultancy projects developed by ISEG in the fields of entrepreneurship, international business, management of SMEs and investment analysis.
