Short biography:
PhD and MSc in Economic and Organizational Sociology from the Lisbon School of Economics and Management (ISEG) of the Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa). Graduated in Agronomic Engineering (Rural Extension Branch) from the University of Évora. Integrated Researcher of SOCIUS (Center for Research in Economic and Organizational Sociology) of ISEG/ULisboa, and coordinator of the Research Group of Labor and Employment of CSG/ISEG/ULisboa. He carried out, among other positions, the position of Consultant of the European Training Foundation (ETF) for Central Asia; Vice-President of the National Agency for Qualification and Professional Education (ANQEP I.P.); Director of the Employment and Vocational Training Center of the Institute of Employment and Professional Training (IEFP I.P.); Regional Delegate of Lisbon and Vale do Tejo of the National Agency of Education and Training of Adults (ANEFA). He is Associate Professor at the Lusófona University/Department of Economics and Management. He is Senior Adviser to IEFP, seconded to the European Commission-Brussels at the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL). He is author of several scientific and technical articles, published in national and foreign magazines. He is Coordinator of the Research Group on Labor and Employment.
