Short biography:
Graduated in European Studies and Sociology. He has collaborated with several research centers, including SOCIUS/CSG - Center for Research in Economic Sociology and Organizations and CESIS - Center for Studies on Social Intervention. He teaches as a guest professor at the Universidade Aberta. His research and teaching activities focus on work, gender and migration issues. He has a PhD in Economic and Organizational Sociology, at the Lisbon School of Economics and Management of the Universidade de Lisboa, with a research conducted between 2010 and 2014 on the dynamics of contemporary domestic service in Lisbon. He spent time as a visiting researcher in the Netherlands and Argentina. The results of his work are published in several magazines and books.
