Short biography:
José Manuel Guimarães de Magalhães, Ph.D. in Psychology, is a senior member of the National Statistics Institute (INE), at the HRD, and he is Chairman of the Commission on Occupational Safety and Health. In addition to that role he occupies the position of Occupational Health Psychologist, he is a lecturer at the University of Lisbon - ISCSP in Human Resource Management. He is a researcher at the UAL Research Center in Psychology and a guest researcher at SOCIUS/ISEG and CEPESE. Belongs to the Technical Scientific Group of the Order of Physicians for the Burnout area in the Medical Class; integrates the research team of UAL/School of Nursing for the Promotion of Welfare and Quality of Life in the Nursing Class; is a member of the Steering Group of INE in the project of implementing good practices in Stress and Welfare management through the application of the SISW instrument, is a member of the adaptation team of the GM@W questionnaire.
