GHES Recruits a Doctorate in Economic History


Pursuant to Article 23 of Decree-Law No. 57/2016, and until April 28th, it is open at GHES – Research Centre of Economic and Social History an international selection tender for one vacancy of doctorate to perform duties of scientific research a 3-year research contract in the area of Monetary and Financial History in an undefined work contract regime, pursuant to the Labour Code, in order to integrate the teamwork of a broader project concerning the precious metals flows, agents and entrepreneurial skills that supported international transactions in early modern world. The researcher to be recruited is expected to work on the silver inflows and impacts on Portuguese money supply and exchange rate in a comparative perspective.
