The Seminar “International Finance and Accumulation of Fictitious Capital – The case of Mozambique” opens this year the Cycle of Seminars on Development Studies 2019 and will take place on February 28th, 6 p.m., at ISEG (Amphitheater 1, Building Quelhas). The keynote speaker is Carlos Castel-Branco, Professor at ISEG and activist.

In the wake of recent financial scandals, this seminar focuses on the interaction between international finance and the dynamics of the political economy of Mozambique’s private capital accumulation system.

This seminars are directed to master’s and doctoral students, researchers, and general public interested in these subjects.
